and I didn't even get to see it. Dolly Parton's 1st broadway show "9 to 5" is closing Sept. 6th after only 6 short months here in NY. Unfortunate, but that's not the way Dolly is thinking, here's what she has to say:
"I couldn't have asked for a better experience on my first Broadway show. I've had the priviledge of working with an amazing group of people who have become like family to me. I can't wait to for this show to hit the road next year so people across the country can see why I'm so proud of everyone involved."
I actually was lucky enough to stumble in on her 9 to 5 broadway party before the show started @ VYNL in Hell's Kitchen and got to catch a glimpse of the legend herself. I think my Grandma was more excited for me than I was. I love that woman.
