and I didn't even get to see it. Dolly Parton's 1st broadway show "9 to 5" is closing Sept. 6th after only 6 short months here in NY. Unfortunate, but that's not the way Dolly is thinking, here's what she has to say:

I actually was lucky enough to stumble in on her 9 to 5 broadway party before the show started @ VYNL in Hell's Kitchen and got to catch a glimpse of the legend herself. I think my Grandma was more excited for me than I was. I love that woman.

I know I just posted about a photographer, but Hannah and Joel have two entirely different styles. Joel takes his photography to a different level, setting up photo shoots and making his models look SICK. I love this boy to death, he is not only an artist, but a great pal.

Hannah Ulrich is a fucking sweet heart and that's all there is to it. She is brilliant with her camera and always manages to get fun candid photos. I hate going through a photo album and everyone is staring straight at the camera, posed and ready for the shot. It doesn't capture the fun that is going on. I love her style and the end results, It's always great when Hannah shows up to capture the night, considering those genetic reoccuring blackouts I have.

When Matt came into my work with free tickets to the Sea Tea, I instantly got excited and thought about my last boatride around Manhattan, (Pat Field's Boat Party) in which I left black out wasted and had the night of my life. Therefore, I WAS REALLY EXCITED when I saw we were boarding the Queen of Hearts again, the same boat. A 3 floor boat, djs, open bars, booze, dancing, and new york city. Amazing. This party was a little tamer, a different crowd, but JUST as fun. I love sailing. :)

Recap: Outlaw Party July 2009

Keeping up with tradition comes Cazwell's (hopefully) annual Outlaw Party, started in the 90's by Michael Alig. We basically flooded the Soho Krispey Kreme Donuts with trannies, freaks, club kids, gays, straights, men, woman. It was AMAZING.

I didn't know how this night was going to turn out, I kind of figured it was going to flop. Once we got there, Amanda Lepore and Cazwell were sitting at a table alone with a few other stragglers around. Within 10 more minutes, the place was PACKED. Not only were there 100's of us, there were people walking by wondering what the hell was going on, in which many came in to join the party.

Things started to get a little out of hand when donuts were being hurled across the room, obvious signs of vodka bottles showing up on tables, and HERRA C dancing on the counter. All in all, the cops were called. We left. No one arrested :( . We went off to some lame-o after party, where after an hour I was ready to leave.

Only in New York.
